Terrific Tennis

Walt: hit the ball using different strokes

Bounce, bounce bounce go the tennis balls along with the screech of room 5 students excited voices. Learning how to use different strokes such as volleying backhand and serving are just a few.

 Reflection:
We learned to hit the ball with the front of the racket (forehand stroke) and used backhand strokes.
We enjoyed playing doubles.
We found it challenging to practice our volleys which is when your buddy throws you the ball and you hit the ball back, don't let the ball hit the ground and you're close to the net.
We could improve by not hitting the ball down but up.

I really like your blog post about “Terrific Tennis” because you have told us your WALT and added your reflection at the end of your post.
Your blog post told me some of the serves you learnt to do like volleying, backhand strokes and forehand strokes. Why I liked your blog post is because when I played tennis I learnt new serves & my favourite is Volleying. I would like to play more tennis in the future.
What was the serve that your class liked the most?
